Junior Vincent Pi is going to state for winning 1st in the 50 yard freestyle and 2nd in the 200 yard freestyle. This is Pi’s third trip to state while being in Niles North.

Boys swim sectionals were held at Niles North on Feb. 22. To Varsity Boys coach, Seth Orlove, sectionals went very well for the team and showed how the team has improved.

I think we’ll only continue to get stronger,” Orlove said. “Our team grew exponentially this season, and we have more swimmers coming on to our team in the season’s to come with club experience.”

To show support, this Thursday at 7:30 AM, there was a send off for Pi in the New Commons. He will be going to Evanston on the same day to compete for his shot at going to the state finals.
