Recently a new movement online called #TeamTree has planted over 13 million trees thanks to countless YouTubers and famous people spreading the word about it.

YouTubers like MrBeast, Mark Robert and others to public figures like Elon Musk have started this collaborative fundraising with the Arbor Day Foundation to try and plant about 20 million trees by January 1st, 2020.

Originally the idea started on Reddit with a joke that when the YouTuber MrBeast hits 20 million subscribers he would plant 20 million trees. Eventually the joke exploded on Reddit and MrBeast started #TeamTree to try to plant 20 million trees. If you want to help out Team Tree you can donate here.
