National Hispanic Heritage Month has begun

  Americans begin to observe Hispanic Heritage Month  on September 15 through October 15. Many Latin American countries celebrate their independence around September 15, marking a time of celebration for Hispanics. 

In order to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of the countries Hispanic Americans you should “Look around at all the beautiful art you can find in murals, music, THE FOOD, literature,” Latinx Club Sponsor, Alejandra Arteaga said. “The community should make an attempt to attend events that celebrate    the beautiful culture and sacrifices of our people.”  

      Niles North’s very own Latinx club is planning to hold a community wide party on November 1, in order to celebrate the school’s very own Hispanic Heritage.
