Come to the the 2nd Annual Niles North Poetry Slam!
On Thursday, May 16, after school, students will compete in the 2nd Annual NN Poetry Slam (hosted by senior Jordan Spiwak)! Last year, the number of slammers and spectators spilled the banks of the Codell Commons, making necessary the move to this year’s venue: the auditorium.
As with last year, this event is sponsored by Outspoken (the Niles North Poetry Club and Spoken Word Team sponsored by Kara Caplan and Bill Sullivan) and The Point. The slam will be held from 3:45 until 5:30 p.m.
Come join the Outspoken poetry team and share your poetry or watch poets perform.
It will be a slam you won’t forget!
