Clue is a classic, comedic, murder mystery story. A group of guests have been invited to this mysterious mansion, where they must assume pseudonyms. Little do they know, the manor’s owner has set up a scheme to blackmail the guests and turn them against each other.
Clue will perform at the Niles North black box theatre on Dec. 13 and 14 for four performances, and tickets are selling quickly.
This play is intriguing, elusive, and puzzling, and you will regret not buying tickets to see it. The entire cast and crew have put in a great deal of time and effort to make this a successful show.
“There are plays that change your life and plays that change your night. This one’s gonna change your night. You’re gonna walk out of there in a good mood because we’re gonna laugh, and it’s gonna be fun,” Director Megan Baskin said.
It’s easy to stay engaged and entertained with this play as it is very chaotic and features a diverse range of characters, each with strong and distinct personalities.
“Every other scene, someone is getting murdered and we all have to run around the stage and it’s all craziness,” senior Olivia Russell said.
Actors in the theatre department have had a great experience putting together this production.
“Being a part of the production is super fun,” junior Nela Hanic said. “Since I have a small role I also get to do backstage stuff as well. I got to meet a lot of new opportunities and build community in this new experience.”
Overall, the process of putting together has been a positive experience for all the cast and crew. Clue is an exciting, family-friendly experience recommended for everyone to enjoy. Come watch as the clues unfold!
