What is your name and grade? My name is Erica Alverio and I’m a freshman.

What sports did you grow up with and how long have you been playing it? I play basketball and I’ve been playing for six years.

How many games have you won during your time in Niles North? My team and I have only won five games. This season was not so good.

What was your first job? My first job was working at my dad’s company. I don’t know my dad’s company name but he works in construction.

What is your most annoying quality? I have a God-like complex. I truly believe that I am better than many people in a lot of things. Like I’m above average in everything.

What was your favorite grade during school? 8th-grade year is one of my favorite years. It was an enjoyable environment and I made a lot of memories.

Out of the four seasons, what is your favorite and why? Spring and fall because it has the best weather. I feel like it gives a lot of new opportunities. I like the way it begins the season.

What is your main reason for getting out of bed every day? School is the main reason why I get out of bed. I like to look to the future, which is going into college and graduating as a pediatrician. 

What is your favorite type of weather? The rain because it is so calming and peaceful. I like the smell of the rain before and after it comes. I like how after the rain there is a growth and rebirth of the plants. 

Do you have any pets? I have a dog named Obi. I’ve had him for three years, he’s a pit bull.

Do you consider yourself a good student? I am a good student. I pay attention in class. I’m in the Honors Society, too. 

Do you have siblings? I have two siblings, I have an older brother who is a junior and a younger sister who is an eighth grader.
