What is your name and year? Samreen Khan, Sophomore.
Where were you born and Zodiac Sign? I was born in Chicago and I’m a Virgo.
Do you have a favorite artist? I don’t listen to specific artist I just listen to everything
What is your favorite song? Toking Dozing by Suave.
What is your favorite book? I love the girl in the blue coat, it made me realize I really like historical fiction.
Do you have any movie recommendations? Searching, it’s about a girl who apparently runs away. It’s interesting because it’s in the POV of computer screens, the movie is told so well through computer scenes.
What is your comfort food? Chocolate chip cookies and milk
Hobbies? I like sculpting, drawing, organizing and cleaning whenever I’m stressed. It gives my mind a new template.
Something you feel is interesting about yourself? I’m a very rational person so when it comes to situations that cause distress it’s easy for me to not get stressed and easily find a way to not blow it over.
What have you learned since coming to Niles North? I have learned a slogan, when you’re with the right group of people everything goes right and you find happiness wherever you go.
Do you have a favorite memory? Honestly, all the time I’m with some of my favorite people because I just love their presence.
What clubs do you participate in at Niles North? Badminton, debate, and tennis.
What made you join Debate? There were snacks available and what made me stay was the people there.
What is your favorite accomplishment from debate? Probably reaching finals of state
What do you like about tennis? I just started this year but it’s just so fun, watching myself grow in that journey is so fun and exciting. I remember the first time not wanting to join and only coming for my friend. I also didn’t understand how to play and now I went to a conference and it’s such a crazy experience.
What made you join badminton? I’ve been playing badminton since my older sister played it, so I joined during freshman year when she was a senior.
