What’s your name, and what grade are you in? My name is Crystal Patto and I am a senior.

What has been your fondest memory at North? My fondest memory would be the homecoming pep assembly because Assyrian Club won the best parade banner. I still remember jumping up and down with my club members and being so proud of one another for working so hard.

You’re headed to nationals for DECA, what are you most excited about? I am most excited to be around people who are interested in business and for going to Disney and Universal for the first time.

Where do you see yourself in 6 years? In 6 years I see myself still living around Skokie, IL, and hopefully working as a School Social Worker at NNHS. In a way, I see myself giving back to the community.

If you could tell your freshman-year self one thing, what would it be? I would tell my freshman self to just have fun and be myself. No one really cares about what you do, wear, or like so might as well do it for yourself.

What’s the best part about being President of Assyrian club? I love having many responsibilities because it gives me a sense of accomplishment. For the past two years being the Assyrian Club President I have learned a lot from my lovely sponsors as well as the club members.

What is your current favorite song? Hasta Cuando by Kali Uchis.

What are the top two best classes you’re taking right now? I would say Welding and AP Psychology.

If you could choose the flavor of DECAdent Delights for the week, what flavor would it be? The flavor I would choose for the week would be mint.

Who is your biggest inspiration? My dad would be my biggest inspiration because he has done and gone through so much for my family and me.
