What is your job title? Year in school? I’m an assistant coach for SWIFT Aquatics, I lifeguard in the summer, and I’m a senior at North.

Where were you born? I was born in a small town which is called Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2005.

Which language(s) do you speak other than English? I just speak English, unfortunately.

What is your hobby? I’m a lifeguard, and I also like reading.

Do you have a favorite food? Show? Artist? Sports team? I love boba. My favorite show probably has to be New Girl. My favorite artist is SZA, and I don’t have a favorite sports team.

What would you like to see more of at Niles North? … definitely more diversity in the staff.

What would you like to see less of at Niles North? I’d like to see fewer restrictions, like in the bathrooms and vending machines.

What do you do to make NN a safe place to learn? I’m a tutor at The Point! I’m also involved with Dance Marathon.

How do you bring positivity to Niles North? By being myself- no, ha, I’m just kidding! I’m involved in Dance Marathon. Dance Marathon is an organization that raises money for a charity, and this year’s charity is The Harbor, which helps house those in need.
