2022 Phantom of the Opera prom theme takes masks to a new level
Prom season is almost here and we’re here to tell you everything you need to know about this year’s Senior Prom. The prom theme this year is Phantom of the Opera, so make sure to bring your best masquerade masks. The deadline for registration and payment for prom 2022 is Friday, April 22nd. In order to attend prom, the following three documents need to be turned in before Friday, April 22nd: Prom Registration Form (online), Guardian Consent form (online), $85 per person payable to the infinite campus store ($170 for two people).
Prom will be taking place at Loews Chicago O’hare 5300 N River Road Rosemont, IL 60018. Students only need to bring their student ID, and a mask (optional). Everything else including food is covered by the ticket that you purchased. Doors open for students at 5 pm. Prom starts at 6 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. All guests are expected to arrive no later than 6:15 because dinner will be served at 6:30.
“I feel like you should totally go to prom if you’re on the edge, but if you don’t like loud music, or you don’t like to dress up … it’s totally valid to not go,” said Senior Leta Blades on whether every senior should go to prom.
“Prom is the one thing I’ve always been looking forward to, throughout my high school career. It’s an event that you always hear about throughout high school,” said Senior Mahnoor Jamali.
“Once you actually get to go it’s exciting.I have been planning to go to prom since freshman year. I would encourage other students to go. I want to go for the memories,” said Senior Andrea German.
Prom is an event for Seniors, and Juniors. However, it is more of a senior-dominant event. Seniors are encouraged to attend and make their last memories with their class before graduating. For more information contact Ms. Khamis at [email protected].
