This past week the club Dance Marathon at Niles North has chosen a charity organization for this year. Pankaj Sharma, Dance Marathon’s main sponsor explained what the organization is known for. ‘This year the students selected GirlForward. GirlForward is a community of support dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls who have been displaced globally by conflict and persecution.’

GirlForward provides aid to girls ages 14-21 in grades 9-12 who are recognized as immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
