Phoebe Bridgers is touring again
Recently, American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers announced the dates for the second leg of her Reunion Tour in North America.
This tour will begin in April, and on June 4 she will be in Chicago at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. Although tickets are going quickly, fans can still buy them here.
Bridgers’ most popular song, Motion Sickness, from her first album Stranger in the Alps, has over 150 million streams on Spotify.
This tour, however, highlights her second album, Punisher, which came out in June 2020. In this album, Bridgers vividly and personally illustrates her own life experiences. “She’s really good,” senior Hannah Conway said, despite not having listened to Bridgers much.
If you like artists like Mitski or Lucy Dacus, you would probably like Bridgers’ music. Senior Maria Bank said, “If I saw her in person, I would probably pass out.”
Megan is a senior at Niles North. She likes to read and write and this is her first year in NSN.
