Giving cards to my friends and watching their smiles.
I liked getting candies I couldn’t get any other time of the year such as sweetarts and fun dips from my classmates.
Getting and sharing a bunch of candy and treats with classmates and coming home with a bag full of candy and sweet notes.
Decorating Valentine’s Day mailboxes.
It’s my dad’s bday.
Parties during school.
Decorating a shoebox and putting it on my desk.
Do you have a Valentine’s Day ritual that you care to share?
Wear as much pink or red as possible.
Dipping fruits (strawberries) and pound cake into chocolate fondue.
Getting donuts from my mom.
Eating candy and watching movies.
I actually celebrate Valentine’s Day with my family! We get each other gifts.
Secret Santa valentine’s day edition with friends.
I still like giving friends & family treats to make everyone feel special, just like how I felt special getting Valentine’s Day cards from classmates in grade school.
Just making it a surprise. Saying as little about it as possible.
My husband buys me flowers to be a good example to our two boys.
I buy Hershey’s kisses for my friends 🙂
I buy my kids a new book for Valentine’s Day. It isn’t expensive and it’s personal. They each get a new book that they like.
A nice dinner at home.
