The new battle royale game that Activision released, Call of Duty: Warzone, will have up to 150 players each match. 

The way to play the game is to survive with other squad mates,as long as you can, along with the other 149 people on the map. As you progress to the end of the game, there will be a circle surrounding the players to limit space you can walk through, therefore making the game end quicker each time. The players can collect weapons that are dropped on the ground and from other players and customize loadouts that suits the player best. 

The innovative implementation I think that the developers put in the game is that if you die, you get sent to the Gulags, referring to the location in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series when Captain Price was sent to the Gulags for some years. In the Gulags, you then fight other “dead” people for redeployment. Once you have died twice, you can’t get back into the game. Also, you can upgrade weapons that you have by completing contracts and visiting Buy Stations.

I thought that Activision was stepping in the right direction by making the game separate rather than be a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as an additional mode. The game is very innovative and can be enjoyable for time to come. If Activision and their developers implement updates and other additions to the game, the game can overtake Fortnite as the most popular Free-To-Play Battle Royale.
