Physical Welfare Pat Steeno calmly donated blood on Valentine’s Day.
On Valentine’s Day, the Niles North Student Government is hosting a blood drive in Niles North Commons.
The Niles North Student Government has been hosting blood drives for over 10 years.
Sophomore Grace Murphy, head of the blood drive community says, “We partner up with Vitalant advertising setting up the schedule. Before they take the blood they ask background questions and they take fingerprints.”
You have to be 16 or older to donate your blood. According to the group, by donating, “you could save 3 lives!”
