Is Google Stadia the Future of Gaming?
On November 19, Google launched their cloud-based gaming platform “Google Stadia” to mixed reception from gamers and critics.
With Google Staida gamers can play video games anywhere, but upon release, there was server complaints about the platform. The majority of the complaints stem from the lack of good graphics, to input lag, lack of compatibility with other phones (i.e. with Apple and Android phones) if you want to play with Google Stadia on the go and more.
Current there are 22 games on Google Stadia ranging from Red Dead Redemption 2 to NBA 2K20. The price of the Google Stadia is $129 for the premiere edition which includes a Chromecast Ultra, a Stadia Controller, a copy of Destiny 2 and a three-month subscription for Stadia Pro.
