On September 24, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi called for an impeachment inquiry on President Donald Trump. It is believed that Trump pressured Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former U.S. vice president and presidential candidate, Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter Biden. Not only that, Congress has frozen $309 million that was meant to help Ukraine against Russia.
