Head Nurse Mullins is awarded for avid leadership
August 31, 2016
District 219’s very own Anna Marie Mullins, the head nurse, will be granted an award for 40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders in Illinois on Sept. 22.
Recipients of the award are chosen by a wide range of their peers based on their leadership qualities, achievements in the profession, and involvements in both the community and in their field.
With the support of her fellow nurses, coworkers, and her former professors that nominated her, Mullens has finally been brought to the spotlight that she deserves.
The second annual 40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders in Illinois only grants 40 of the best nurses in the field, and we are honored to have someone from our community granted this award.
“I am honored to be recognized among some of Illinois’ finest nurses and extremely proud to representing the field of school nursing,” said Mullins.
The event will be held at Rush University Medical Center’s Searle Conference Center and tickets are currently on sale for $25. For more information and to purchase tickets visit their website.
