The Niles North theatre department will be bringing Legally Blonde The Musical to Niles North Thursday at 10 a.m. for a free community performance, Friday at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7pm for $10.

The main cast features: Teresa Franks, Martin Wiviott, Robin Wallace, Nathan Selinger, Ryan Loach, Nina Codell, Amy Hagedorn, Margaret Selinger, Katie Bean, Hannah Sahyouni, and Lauryn Schmelzer.

For audience members who are familiar with Legally Blonde the movie, “If you love the movie, you’ll be sure to love the musical,” senior Ryan Loach said. Loach plays Warner, Elle’s ex-boyfriend, in the show.

For those who aren’t familiar with the movie, the musical features Elle Woods, a sorority girl who follows her love (Warner) to Harvard in attempt to prove she’s intelligent enough for him and try to win him back. She ends up learning a lot about herself in the process.”Being yourself never goes out of style” sophomore Ensemble member Dani Brown said.

With fun tunes and an upbeat vibe, this show is a must see for any comedy-lover. Be sure to come!
