Collage Concert combines all the best of Niles North music
Orchestra plays “Light the Candles” with lights of their own.
On Dec. 15 students from the band, choir, and orchestra programs came together to perform three concerts in one holiday-filled day.
All the performances happened back to back and even involved some combination of two groups on joint songs. The groups performed different songs ranging from melancholy to that classic Christmas cheer.
“I think all the groups are going to do well and all the transitions are going to be seamless,” senior vocalist Isabel Ladera said.
Despite all the differences, each group had a performance that they couldn’t wait to hear.
“I like the jazz band because they’re all talented and have a good song selection and I liked their performance at the V-show,” Ladera said.
The concert was performed three times total, taking place during periods 1-6, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Miles is a senior at Niles North. He plays on the golf team and enjoys listening to motown.
