Reading is for everyone with this summer’s reading list

Summer is coming soon and the Niles North Library is ready with a new summer reading list!

Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors at Niles North will all have the opportunity to receive a free book from the summer reading list, with 21 available options to choose from. Students can find more information here

There is something for everyone through the Niles North summer reading program.

“We believe that every student in this building should see themselves reflected in the pages of a book or find a title that really interests them,” Head Librarian Beverly Zbinden said.  This is so that students can, “experience the full range of emotions a good book can trigger and hope to help them develop into life-long readers.”

This means that even students who aren’t normally readers could still have fun and learn something through reading a free book this summer. For students who prefer less reading and more visual stimulation, there are options too, including the popular manga Jujutsu Kaisen.

No matter which book each student chooses, they are sure to have a great read.
