Voices freshly warmed up. Mallets tightly gripped. Hours of work, practice, and lovingly invested energy that, on this coming Wednesday, will be coming to fruition.

This Wednesday, on Oct. 24, the Niles North band and choir will be performing in a joint concert in the auditorium from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Following the orchestra concert that occurred last Thursday, this concert marks the second in just under a week, and promises to keep the sonic spectacle flowing.

If you happen to be curious about what to expect, the band and choir will alternate with presented pieces throughout the night, but room has been left for extra treats.

“You’ll be seeing works from Mr. Gregerman’s ensembles and his performing choirs as well as the band, some of the drumline, and some jazz band as well,” Michael Moehlmann, band director, said.

If you find yourself to be free Wednesday night, consider coming out to support your fellow students.
