Congrats to Niles West News Editor Ivana Kosir. Kosir, a junior, has been selected to the Illinois 2012 All-State Journalism team, an annual event that honors the best in high school journalism. Kosir is currently the NWN’s News page editor. She has written articles on topics varying from Niles West policy to editorials on Kony 2012. Kosir also runs cross-country and plays soccer for Niles West.
Kosir and Niles West News advisor Evelyn Lauer will be honored at a journalism banquet on June 2. The Illinois Press Foundation and the Illinois Journalism Education Association will honor Kosir and the All-State Team in Springfield this summer.
She will serve as editor-in-chief of the Niles West News next year.
