Niles North, West and Central High Schools called home and declared on their websites that their schools will be closed on Monday, January 27, and on Tuesday, January 28, due to inclement weather. All school activities will be cancelled that day.
The National Weather Service is warning about temperatures dropping for the Chicago area through Sunday evening. The temperatures are predicted to drop by Monday as low as -19 degrees.
