Get your helmets ready Vikings, the homecoming football game is this Friday at 7.

This year Niles North will be hosting Glenbrook South. Niles North has won two of their first three games this year, so they’re off to a great start.

The football team has been working hard so it’ll be great game and everyone should come show their support.

“I’m really pumped up for this game because not only is it a homecoming game, it’s also the 50th anniversary of Niles North,” said Senior Chinedu Nwansi. “Glenbrook South has a great defense and line-up and if we keep up our defense like in the last game we will definitely win.”

“I am really excited for this game because we worked hard. Our offense is our biggest advantage,” said team manager, Adam Odicho.

In addition, there will be a parade at 6, which is formed by the clubs and organizations in the school. During halftime the band will perform a field show and the homecoming court will be introduced.

Come cheer on the football team and show your spirt at the homecoming game on Friday. It will take place in the football field and it’s going to be crazy. Hope to see you there Vikings!

Be sure to stay for the fireworks after the game!
